It's Hump day! Can you believe New Year's Eve is tomorrow?! It's crazy how fast this year flew by! While there were many things I enjoyed about 2015, I'm excited to start to the new year as well. A fresh start is always good, right?
I have a small post today from the China Glaze Cheers! holiday collection for this year. Out of all the polishes, I only picked up one: Ugly Sweater Party. Normally I like to pick up a couple from the collection that I find unique or a shade I don't already own but not this time haha. I wish I could provide the full collection to review, but unfortunately I am only one woman in college...so maybe another time!
Ugly Sweater Party is a pink glitter bomb within a pink base. There's larger blue glitter, pink glitter, silver glitter, holo glitter, and more! This is like a disco ball on my fingers, it's so sparkly and pretty...but the formula is not so good. The glitter likes to clump together and it tends to be quite base heavy despite the base being thin...make sense haha? So if you're not careful it can get thick on your nails really quick. I recommend doing one coat, letting it dry down then go back for the second coat. However it did only took 2 coats to get fully opaque so this is 2 coats plus topcoat (I also recommend using a thicker topcoat because this sucks up topcoat like crazy).
Overall, I like this because it's super sparkly and such but the formula is a kind of a pain. My recommendation for applying this is either: sponge on or apply like normal then go back and dip 'n' dab for full coverage. So if you love the color and don't mind the formula then go for it but if you're looking for an easy to use glitter than I would skip this.

Formula X Revved Up Swatch & Review
It's Monday! How was your holiday guys? Mine was good, I had Christmas at my house then went over to my grandma's house for dinner and such. What did you guys do?
Today I have a small post from the Formula X line at Sephora. I got this in my ipsy bag this month, so of course I had to share it!
If you guys want to see my ipsy bags each month, let me know!
Revved Up is an ultra metallic, rose gold foil. When I first saw it, I was "ehh" about it, but once I put it on my nails I completely changed my mind! It is so pretty, not brush strokey, and the best part is the formula. The formula is almost a one coater! If you have shorter nails than mine than you could probably get away with 1 coat but I had minor streaks to cover so this is 2 coats without topcoat.
Now you probably noticed that I'm not holding the polish bottle...there's a reason for that. Since it came in my ipsy, it was a sample size so it would've been super difficult to properly photograph this. Here is a size comparison of the bottle to a normal China Glaze bottle.
Overall, I ended up loving this polish. My only gripe is that removing it is a pain if you don't use peel-off basecoat. But other than that, I highly recommend this!

Christmas 2015 Nail Art
Merry Christmas everyone !! I can't believe it's already Christmas ! Since I will be spending the day with my family (and if you celebrate it, I hope you will too), I have a relatively quick post today.
My inspiration came from two things: a previous snowman mani I did a year or so ago and the look of snow during either late night/early morning and how it seems to glitter when you look at it! Believe it or not, I solely used polish to create my look...no acrylic paint! I will have the full details of how it was constructed and such after the jump!

OPI Starlight Collection Holiday 2015 Swatches & Review
Hey guys I'm back! I had my last final on Tuesday which was Korean. I'm sad that a couple of my classes ended, I'm soo glad to be done with school for a little while. Within the past 2 weeks, I've written two 5 page papers, one 6 page paper, one 10 page paper, and a 4 1/2 page paper in Korean on top of studying for my final Tuesday...to say the least I was busy haha. Plus the papers were almost all assigned one day after another!
Anyway enough about my collegiate life and onto polish! Today I have two polishes from the OPI Starlight collection which is their holiday collection for 2015. I was dying at the fact that the whole collection is centered around stars and the galaxy...I'm kinda addicted to galaxy themed things. I thought about picking up a couple more, but the more I saw the different displays I decided against it. However I'm quite happy with the two shades I did pick up! Check out my swatches and thoughts below after the jump!

To hold you all over until my next post, here is a picture of my little persian baby:

OPI Dutch Tulips, I Have A Herring Problem, and Purple With A Purpose Swatches & Review
Happy Tuesday all! Yesterday started off the last week of classes for me...I can't believe fall semester is already over! While I'll be sad that some of my classes are over, others I'm glad to be done with; plus my older brother graduates from college this Saturday! Yay!
Anyhow today I have a somewhat random mix of OPIs to share with you all. I found them all in the clearance bin at Target some weeks ago and they managed to make it home with me haha. Check out my thoughts and swatches after the jump!

Exo Nail Art (엑소 네일아트)
Hey guys! I have a quick post today about some nail art I did a while ago. If you didn't know, one of my favorite genres of music is Kpop (or Korean pop). I listen to a lot of groups, but one of my favorites is Exo. I remember when I first heard about them and have been a fan ever since. My bias is Kris (don't get me started on the whole OT12 and everyone leaving haha) aka Wu Yifan.
Anyway, the design is from Mama era or their debut era. The lovely standee that I'm holding is Tao (one of the Chinese members from Exo-M that left).

I miss when Exo was 12, but it makes me feel better that Kris, Luhan, and Tao are happier....anyway I hope you enjoyed my Exo nail art! I plan to have more coming in the future ;)

Essie Fall 2015 Leggy Legend Collection Swatches & Review
Wow can you believe it's December already?! I feel like November just started yet it's already made it's way out! I only have 2 more weeks of actual class time left, then there is just finals and right now I'm gearing up to combat the crazy amounts of work I have to due before the semester ends!
Today I have a somewhat of a quick post about the Essie Leggy Legend collection. I originally didn't pick any up because the colors weren't that appealing to me. But then after I heard how good some of the polishes were and saw some swatches, I was hooked and wanted to pick up a few....well that didn't go as planned until one faithful day I was in Target rummaging through the Clearance bin (trust me you can find some great stuff there!) and I found Leggy Legend and Bell-Bottom Blues there. Rest assured they came home with me, and after the jump I'll show you what they look like!
